Comments Policy

The lifeblood of any blog is comments from it’s readers. However, I want to make clear to everyone my policy on comments for this blog.

  1. All comments posted to this blog are subject to moderation. If you are new to blogging, what this means is that I read your comments and approve or disapprove them before they become visible to other readers. While this approach is more time-intensive for me, and perhaps not in the purest tradition of free speech, with the insidious prevalence of spam in the blogosphere it’s necessary in order to preserve the purpose and intent of my blog.
  2. Comments with links are not only permitted, but encouraged. However, please be aware that if your link and/or the content of your comment are not relevant to the purpose and intent of my blog, I will delete it. Simply commenting “Great post!” and then supplying a link to a site selling gold or medications or anything not related to food or cooking will not pass the test. I am sorry to those who might be inconvenienced by this.

Thank you to everyone who expresses an interest in my blog. Please understand that this is my blog. I reserve the right to control it’s content.
